Will it upload? Check every limit at once.
Drop a file and see whether it fits each destination in our upload-limits dataset, by size, pages and format. The file is read in this tab and never leaves your device.
Drop a file anywhere on this pagePDF, JPG or PNG. It is read here and never uploaded.
How the check works
The page reads your file’s bytes with the same quick scan as the home-page X-ray: the size in bytes, and for a PDF its version and page count. It then compares those numbers with every published record in our upload limits dataset. Each record’s limit was quoted from the provider’s own help page on the date shown next to it.
Sizes are compared in decimal units, the stricter reading: 12 MB means 12,000,000 bytes. A court rule like “files that exceed 50MB cannot be e-filed” together with “ECF will reject anything 50.0MB … or over” is treated as strictly under 50,000,000 bytes.
If a file is over a limit, the verdict links to the compressor with that destination’s limit already set. Fitting by size is not the whole story: portals also check formats, passwords and legibility, so read the record for the destination you are using.
