Form I-751 is the petition a conditional resident who got status through marriage files to remove the conditions on residence, turning a two-year green card into a 10-year one. Most couples file it jointly with the spouse through whom the status was obtained, during the 90 days before the conditional residence expires. The instructions also describe situations in which a conditional resident may file without the spouse, with a request to waive the joint-filing requirement, and those can be filed at any time before removal. Dependent children who got conditional status on the same day or within 90 days are listed in Part 5; others file their own petitions. If no petition is filed, status ends automatically two years after it was granted. USCIS lists I-751 for PDF upload online.
How to file Form I-751
Upload a completed PDF
USCIS lists I-751 among the forms you can file by PDF upload. The PDF must carry valid wet-ink signatures (yours and, for a joint petition, your spouse's).
“Attorneys and representatives must make sure the benefit requestor’s valid wet-ink signature appears on the PDF before submitting the form through PDF upload.”

Mail it to the address on uscis.gov/i-751 with the fee and evidence, every page from the same edition.
Need a new card, not this?
Conditional residents within 90 days of expiry cannot replace their card with Form I-90; the I-751 receipt notice extends their status while it is pending.
Why our filler is off for this form: USCIS says its forms are optimized for Adobe Acrobat Reader, and part of this PDF is read-only by design (copied headers, barcodes, signature boxes). We turn our fill on per form only after the output re-opens in Acrobat Reader with every value intact and a matching barcode. Until then, Adobe Reader on a computer is the free tool USCIS points to.
