How the numbers are placed

Numbers are drawn into each page’s content in Helvetica, inside the visible page area, and they follow each page’s rotation so a landscape page still reads upright.

The format uses {n} for the page number and {total} for the count, so “Exhibit A, page {n}” works too.

Steps

  1. Add the PDF.
  2. Pick a position and format.
  3. Set the first number, and skip the cover if you like.
  4. Save and download.

Limits, stated plainly

  • The number is printed on top of whatever is in that corner; pick another position if a page has content there.
